Do you believe in fate/destiny?
When I think of Fate and Destiny, my urge is to start thinking about the time dynamics behind human life. This is what I think the word fate actually means. I imagine a time line, like we’ve seen in our history books, labeling an order of events. From a higher dimensional perspective, why wouldn’t the length in front of the present moment be filled in as thoroughly as the length behind the present? You could imagine this like the present moment is somewhere in between the two endpoints of the time line. If this is accurate, than our entire fate would be predetermined as we simply move through our experiences in the present moment. Like each moment of our life is a frame of some old-school film. Or we are simply sitting on the train of time, looking out the window at all of our experiences, with plenty of experiences on the track in front of us. I call this the Track Theory, but it aligns pretty well with classic determinism. Thus, I believe in fate/destiny.
